Maureen Denise McCormick is the younger daughter of Richard McCormick. Her birth date was August 5th 1956 in Woodland Hills California. She was the home of her mother and also mother to her children. Michael Dennis Kevin is her three elder siblings. McCormick began performing and singing at a very young age. In the year she turned six, McCormick was crowned her first prize in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest. Pat Domigan from the Jack Wormser Agency then called her to ask whether she was looking to pursue a career in showbusiness. McCormick was hired to star in her first major role in 1964 in a tv commercial for Mattels new doll, Baby Pattaburp. The year that followed, she appeared in a second commercial on television for Chatty Cathy's doll. The following year, McCormick was commissioned by La Jolla Playhouse to play the role of Wind It up before It breaks. The Brady Bunch McCormick won a 1969 audition from more than 1200 children to become the youngest of three twins on The Brady Bunch TV series The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson as a newlywed together with Robert Reed. The show ran for five years. McCormick stated in her book from 2008 Heres the Story : Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she nearly ended her relationship in the fifth season of the show in the presence of Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother. The actress was only 16 when the incident occurred; he was 19. The two of us could have been in a relationship, said she. However, the timing was not the right time.
