Her appearance was on two episodes of Showtime's Weeds together with Mary Louise Parker. Her most well-known roles include her roles as Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant the series that premiered which aired on Fox and also as Marcy Bender in the Dawson's Run series. The Guiding Light soap show, she played Marina Cooper. This role was a winner of an award for Soap Op Digest in 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer. Dollar was on screen as Cindy Thomas from 2007 until the year 2008 on ABC's Women's Murder Club. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show was never picked up.
