Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years throughout the 70s. Lennox was paid a salary and part-time work to help supplement her income. Lennox, while studying at the Royal Academy of Music in London, was dissatisfied about her performances as compared to the performance of her peers. Then she began to consider different options. Lennox was initially a flute-player with the group Dragons Playground. The group didn't make it to the talent competition New Faces on I.T.V. She sang lead to The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. The band was where she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva and it was released in the year 1992. The album received a lot of praise, both from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennoxs Six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. The C.D. is comprised of Lennox's favourite soul, jazz and blues songs from her youth. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were that were improvised. The E.P. is a companion piece for her installation of art at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled"Now I'll Let You go... The album is also her first independently released album. Annie Lennox (born December 25, 1954) is an artist from Scotland. Scottish political activist and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, went on to achieve international fame in 1980s with the Eurythmics. In 1992 Lennox began her solo career with her debut album Diva with a variety of successful songs, such as Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa her 1995 studio album has cover versions of songs such asNo MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself and one compilation.
